Next-Gen.Biz Interview: CDV's Service Strategy
Germany-based CDV Software Entertainment has undergone a major shift in business over the past year, transitioning from a PC-centric, strategy game publisher to a modular-based, one-stop-shop for PC, console and handheld game developers and publishers seeking international distribution, marketing, PR and other “a la carte” game services on a global or territory-specific scale.
Gamecock is the first U.S. publisher to utilize CDV’s new modular services. The publisher will work with CDV on distributing Stronghold: Crusader Extreme (PC, pictured), Insecticide (PC, Nintendo DS), Dementium: The Ward (DS), Hail to the Chimp (Xbox 360/PS3), Sabotage (PC, Xbox 360), Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball (PC/Xbox Live Arcade) and Mushroom Men (DS/Wii) throughout Europe.
