Microsoft Knew Of Xbox 360 Faults Before Launch Report States

The Red Rings Of Death have become a part of gaming culture, with many Xbox 360 suffering from the affliction that many now talk about how many consoles they've exchanged rather than if at all. Now in a new report by VentureBeat's Dean Takahashi (author of the tell all books "Opening the Xbox" and "The Xbox 360 Uncloaked"), Takahashi claims that Microsoft knew of the problem and proceeded to mass produce and launch the console, red rings and all. He goes on the claim that the issue has forced the price to stay higher than Microsoft had planned.
